Time and profitability · Track HQ

Know which hours pay.

Track HQ brings time entry, utilization and profitability reporting into one tool for firms that run retainers and fixed-fee work side by side. We built it to run our own agency.

Who it’s for

If this sounds familiar, we should talk.

Leaders of agencies, studios and consultancies, and the people on their teams who log the hours, especially firms that mix retainers with fixed-fee projects.

  • You find out a client was unprofitable after the year is over.
  • Nobody knows whether the team is on track until timesheets are late.
  • Time lives in one tool and revenue in another.
  • Utilization reports take a spreadsheet and a free afternoon.

What it does

Every billable hour, accounted for.

Track HQ joins time entries with accounting revenue, so agency and consultancy leaders can see whether the team is on target and which clients and people are profitable.

  • Fast time entry

Day and week views, timers and calendar suggestions make logging time quick, and it syncs both ways with Harvest.

  • Utilization at a glance

Each person sees billable hours against their goal, their utilization and their time off, week by week.

  • Profitability reports

Effective rates, margins, breakeven, revenue per person and a watchlist of missed targets, by client and by team member.

  • Client concentration risk

See how much of your revenue depends on your largest clients before it becomes a problem.

  • AI executive summaries

A written summary of the numbers that matter, ready to share as a PDF.

  • Nudges in Slack

A mid-week heads-up when someone is under goal and a Friday summary for the whole team.
